100 Utah Companies Recognized For Championing Women-Friendly Policies

November 27, 2024

Since its inception, Inspire In Utah, a program started by the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, has aimed to help Utahns better support the local economy. As part of this mission, the organization has begun recognizing and highlighting companies that champion women.

In 2022, the “100 Companies Championing Women” campaign spotlighted Utah-based companies that set innovative policies and programs to empower women in the workplace.

Now in its third year, the campaign has again recognized 100 companies that have set benchmarks in inclusivity and innovation. These benchmarks have allowed them to recruit, hire, retain, and promote women at all stages, from entry-level positions to senior leadership.

The list includes companies such as Adobe, whose products have an international reach, as well as local businesses like Dough Mama’s Healthy and Yummy Protein Bites. Among the 2023 cohort were organizations championing startups such as RevRoad and its sister company, RevRoad Capital, which have made a conscious effort to seek out and bolster women investors.

Through sharing the success stories of these 100 companies, Inspire In Utah aims to create a positive ripple effect that encourages more businesses in Utah to adopt inclusive and progressive policies that benefit both their employees and the overall business ecosystem.

“Utah has one of the strongest economies in the world,” the campaign states. “To continue that strength and momentum, it’s up to Utah businesses to think creatively about how they champion women and create family-friendly policies.”

Applications for the 2025 cohort are open until spring 2025 or until the 100 spots are filled. Interested companies are encouraged to apply and join the growing movement toward workplace inclusivity.
