The Utah Valley Business Resource Center provides essential tools and resources to help Utah entrepreneurs and small businesses grow and thrive. Located at Utah Valley University, the center is a hub for innovation, offering expert guidance, mentorship, and specialized programs to support businesses at every stage.
A key initiative is the UVU Business Accelerator, designed to help businesses expand and guide them through the phases of business development. The program offers customized coaching, networking opportunities, and access to critical resources that drive sustainable growth.
One of its upcoming offerings is the Advanced Business Accelerator Course, a 12-week program tailored for early-stage businesses that earn up to $250,000 annually. Modeled after the Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac program, it equips participants with tools, strategies, and mentorship for growth.
This course empowers entrepreneurs by helping them develop comprehensive business or growth plans, validate their products or services, and create effective branding and marketing strategies. Participants will also identify funding solutions, prepare for successful growth, and gain practical skills through an expert-led curriculum while networking with fellow entrepreneurs, leaders, and mentors.
The Advanced Business Accelerator Course is offered in person or virtually and runs on Thursdays from Feb. 6 to April 24, 2025. The course is limited to 20 participants at $1,000, with sponsorships that may reduce costs to $500. Eligible Custom Fit funding may cover 40% of fees. Applications close on Jan. 15, 2025.
By leveraging these resources, businesses can maximize opportunities and accelerate their growth. The Utah Valley Business Resource Center stands as a vital partner for Utah entrepreneurs, fostering economic development and empowering business leaders to bring their ideas to life.
