Path to Prosperity Utah

The "Path to Prosperity" series aims to provide small businesses, including farmers and ranchers, the resources and tools they need to grow. The event features experts on starting a business, accessing capital, and doing business with the government. It includes lender-small business matchmaking sessions and pre-event assessments to tailor resources and expertise to participant needs. Presenters will discuss incentivizing unbanked and under-banked small business owners, expanding technical assistance, increasing SBA-certified lenders, and developing contracting relationships with federal and private partners.

Event partners include the U.S. Small Business Association, the U.S. Treasury, FDIC, and the City of South Salt Lake, with Mayor Cherie Wood delivering opening remarks. Promise South Salt Lake, a unique city department, provides dynamic services to youth and families, promoting community success. The event also features Bloomberg's Black Wealth Data Center presenting a national and statewide economic report.
